Koichi Fukuda, 88, of Hilo died May 19 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was retired from the state tax office in Hilo, a World War II U.S. Army Military Intelligence Service veteran and member of Hilo Hooganji Mission and Kaumana Terrace Community Association. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by daughter, Renee (Glenn) Honda of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; sisters, Shizue (Akira) Nakano of Oshima, Japan, Tomoyo Kondo and Mitsuko Muranaka of Hilo; sister-in-law, Shigeko “Kyoko” Nishiyama of Honolulu; one granddaughter and one step-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Susan Kehaulani Noah-Quiocho, 63, of Hilo died May 27 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a former supervisor for Five Star Maintenance and housekeeper for the former Hilo Hotel. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers.
